Taikunthi turns one!

Taikunthi Restaurant turns one this November, and we're celebrating with a week of offers and events from Monday 3 to Friday 7 November 2025.

Across the week, guests can enjoy complimentary coffee upgrades, exclusive First Birthday Wine Packs, and the chance to win a $200 dining voucher with every purchase.

Each day of the Birthday Week features a new celebration:

Mon 3 Nov: Free mini birthday treats with every coffee (between 8am-3pm) + Complimentary focaccia with any two 'Larger' meals.

Tue 4 Nov - Melbourne Cup Day: Watch the race live in the restaurant and enjoy the Mojito special for $12.

Wed 5 Nov: Complimentary white wine tasting with our Sommelier from 12pm-1.30pm.

Thu 6 Nov: Complimentary red wine tasting with our Sommelier from 12pm-1.30pm + Charcuterie & Wine Special for $15 per person.

Fri 7 Nov: Live music and cocktail specials from 4pm-7pm + free roaming canapés from 5.30pm-6.30pm + complimentary grazing table from 5pm-7pm.

This milestone is all about connection, good food and shared moments: a reflection of the community that’s grown around Taikunthi in its first year. Join us in celebrating one year of Taikunthi!

It is a space where people can connect and enjoy the best of what modern Australian cuisine has to offer. The menu features dishes made from quality local ingredients and a carefully curated beverage offering.

Located in the beautifully restored Union House at the University of Adelaide’s North Terrace Campus.
